Cybernetic Governance
Governance that runs before the action, not after the incident.
A stated use case for the Prodigii Platform, awaiting a lighthouse deployment.
The decision problem
Authority is written down in one place and exercised in another.
Enterprise policy lives in documents, committees, and control frameworks. Execution lives in applications, workflows, agents, and operational systems that act without consulting any of it. The gap between the two is closed after the fact, by audit — which reports on decisions that have already taken effect.
Adding AI agents widens the gap rather than closing it. Each agent acts inside its own task boundary at machine speed, and the organization discovers what was decided by reading logs.
- Policy is enforced by review cycles that run slower than the systems they govern.
- Authority structures are not represented anywhere the executing systems can evaluate them.
- Explainability is reconstructed after execution rather than produced by it.
What the platform changes
The governance gate sits between the decision and the act.
The governance gate is the part of the Prodigii Platform that evaluates a proposed action against authority structures, business rules, safety constraints, and compliance requirements before execution occurs. Governance stops being a review stage and becomes a precondition.
Because the platform operates above existing systems, applications, workflows, AI models, and operational technologies, the gate is deployed incrementally over the estate an organization already runs. The gate itself is deterministic: an action that violates an encoded policy is rejected before it executes, every time, and the rejection is logged with the rule that stopped it.
- Built-in policy enforcement, authority management, compliance controls, explainability, and auditability, integrated into the decision and execution process.
- Organizations retain control over deployment environment, governance policies, data access, and execution authority.
- Deployable across cloud, private cloud, hybrid, edge, and on-premises environments.
Where this stands
A wedge domain, not a shipped product.
Prodigii has built one product on the platform to date: a cybersecurity system, built in six weeks. Cybernetic governance is a use case the architecture supports and that no customer deployment has yet validated.
Series A-1 funds three to six lighthouse deployments across corporate domains. This is one of the domains those deployments are intended to validate.
