Advanced Manufacturing
A control layer above the operational technology already installed.
A stated use case for the Prodigii Platform, awaiting a lighthouse deployment.
The decision problem
The plant is instrumented. The response is still scheduled.
Manufacturing environments generate continuous signal from machines, lines, quality systems, and maintenance records. The decisions that act on that signal — reallocate a line, hold a batch, change a maintenance interval — arrive through planning cycles and shift meetings.
Automation closes part of the gap by executing predefined sequences. It does not choose between alternatives when conditions fall outside the sequence, and it does not weigh a production objective against a safety constraint.
- Operational data is abundant; coordinated response across systems is not.
- Predefined workflows execute; they do not evaluate alternatives under uncertainty.
- Replacing installed operational technology is rarely a viable path to either.
What the platform changes
Deployed above the estate, not in place of it.
The Prodigii Platform operates above existing systems, applications, workflows, AI models, and operational technologies, so capabilities are deployed incrementally without replacing installed infrastructure. It is model and system agnostic, and compatible with human users, AI agents, large language models, enterprise applications, operational technologies, APIs, and connected devices.
A live model of the plant holds the operating environment as it currently stands. The Large Behavioral Model (LBM) underneath the platform predicts what happens next and identifies the actions most likely to reach the outcome the plant is run for. The governance gate evaluates each action against safety constraints and business rules before it executes.
- Deployable across cloud, private cloud, hybrid, edge, and on-premises environments.
- A small computational footprint — in Prodigii’s own lab the inference engine runs on a single mini PC alongside other workloads — which is what makes edge deployment practical.
- Continuous adaptive learning from new observations, without large-scale retraining cycles.
Where this stands
A wedge domain, not a shipped product.
Prodigii has built one product on the platform to date: a cybersecurity system, built in six weeks. Advanced manufacturing is a use case the architecture supports and that no customer deployment has yet validated.
Series A-1 funds three to six lighthouse deployments across corporate domains. This is one of the domains those deployments are intended to validate.
